About Pacific Heights: mansions, views and Fillmore Street
Pacific Heights is the city’s most elegant residential neighbourhood, with mansions along its ridge-top streets, views over the Bay and the boutiques of Fillmore Street.
The houses
Broadway and Pacific Avenue run along the ridge, lined with grand houses and views down to the Bay; Hotel Drisco sits among them.
Fillmore Street
Upper Fillmore Street is the neighbourhood’s main street, with boutiques, cafés and restaurants.
Walk Pacific Heights for the views between the mansions.
Japantown and the Fillmore
Downhill to the south, Japantown has Kabuki Springs & Spa, and the Fillmore music hall stands at Geary and Fillmore, with State Bird Provisions just along the street.
Our advice: walk the ridge streets in the morning, then go down Fillmore Street for lunch.
