About Muni (buses, Metro and streetcars)
Muni runs the city’s buses, Muni Metro trains, the historic F Line streetcars along Market Street and the Embarcadero, and the cable cars. An adult single ride is $2.85 with Clipper, MuniMobile or a contactless bank card ($3.00 cash), valid for 120 minutes. Visitor Passports give unlimited rides, including cable cars: 1 day $15, 3 days $35, 7 days $47.
