About Asian Art Museum
The Asian Art Museum is on Larkin Street at Civic Center, a short walk from the opera house and the symphony hall. Its collections and exhibitions range across the art of Asia, from ink painting to contemporary work, and it stays open into the evening on Thursdays (1–8pm); otherwise it opens Friday to Monday, 10am–5pm, and closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
