About Conservatory of Flowers

The Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park is the oldest public wood-and-glass conservatory in North America. Inside are galleries of aquatic plants (look for the giant water lily), highland and lowland tropics, potted rarities and ferns; some plants date from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Open Thursday to Tuesday, 10am–4.30pm. After dark, the Photosynthesis light show plays on the glass every night, about 30 minutes after sunset.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Conservatory of Flowers before you go.
